For the purpose of convenience and for expediting meetings, matters of business of repetitive or routine nature are included in the Consent Agenda, and all such matters of business contained in the Consent Agenda are voted on collectively.

A particular matter of business may be singled out form the Consent Agenda for debate or for a separate vote upon the request of any Councillor.  In the case of a separate vote, the excluded matter of business is severed from the Consent Agenda, and only the remaining matters of business contained in the Consent Agenda are voted on collectively.

Each and every matter of business contained in the Consent Agenda is recorded separately in the minutes of the meeting.

  • RESOLVED that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Red Lake hereby consider Section(s) 4.1 to 4.5 and adopt the items.

  • RESOLVED that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Red Lake hereby approves the Minutes of a Regular Committee of the Whole Meeting held 15 October 2024, as presented.

  • RESOLVED that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Red Lake hereby approves the Minutes of a Regular Council Meeting held 21 October 2024, as presented.

  • RESOLVED that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Red Lake hereby approves the Minutes of a Regular Committee of the Whole Meeting held 11 November 2024, as presented.

  • RESOLVED that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Red Lake hereby receives Board and Committee Meeting Minutes (external) as follows:

    • Board of Health for the Northwestern Health Unit - 29 November 2024
  • RESOLVED that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Red Lake hereby approves the attendance of the following to the 2025 AMO Conference to be held in Ottawa on August 17th - 20th, 2025:

    Fred Mota, Mayor

    Janet Hager, Deputy Mayor

    Michelle Hendry, CAO

  • RESOLVED that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Red Lake hereby supports the nomination of Mayor Fred Mota for Executive Vice President of the Northern Ontario Municipal Association.

  • WHEREAS in accordance to Schedule 22 and Section 11 of the Ontario Drinking-Water System Regulation O. Reg. 170/03, made under the Safe Drinking Water  Act, 2002, requires that the system and the quality of its water;

    NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Red Lake hereby accepts the 2024 Drinking Water System Annual Reports for the period of January 1st, 2024 to December 31st, 2024, attached hereto as Schedule “A” and forming a part of this Resolution, as prepared by Northern Waterworks Inc. for the following:

    Balmertown, Cochenour & McKenzie Island Drinking Water System

    Madsen Drinking Water System

    Red Lake Drinking Water System

    BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the 2024 Drinking Water System Annual Reports be made available, without charge, to every person who requests a copy in accordance to Section 11 of O. Reg. 170/03.

  • RESOLVED that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Red Lake hereby approves the attendance of the following to the 2025 FCM Conference & Trade Show to be held in Ottawa on May 29th - June 1st, 2025:

  • WHEREAS By-Law Nos. 05-2019 and 71-2022 authorizes payment and sets that rates to be paid in respect of remuneration, per diems and expenses to Members of Council, Committee and Board Members, Senior Staff, Staff, Employees and Volunteers of the Municipality of Red Lake;

    NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Red Lake hereby accepts the "Statement of Remuneration and Paid Expenses to Council and Board Members as at December 31st, 2024", attached hereto as Schedule "A" and forming a part of this Resolution.

  • RESOLVED that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Red Lake hereby consider all by-laws (Section 5 of Part 1 – Consent Agenda) as read, without amendment or debate, a first and second time.

  • RESOLVED that the Council of The Corporation of the Municipality of Red Lake hereby adjourns to meet again at the call of the Mayor.
